Spent most of the day wandering around the city by myself before meeting up with Mike in Central Park. We've been saying this would happen for what, over a year? Didn't make it in Berkeley, but New York's not bad for a second choice.

Tagged along on an impromptu engagement shoot which started out somewhere in the Presidio and ended up in the national cemetery. They didn't notice! Snuck in some lovey-dovey shots while they ran around in what looked suspiciously like poison ivy.

Just some sketches that make me want to go frolic somewhere.

Only in California will you be able to walk along the beach and then into the forest, and then find yourself in a local cliffside town's all-organic pizza joint where the owner--covered in equal parts flour and tattoos--scolds you for asking for bread at a pizza place and then brings it to you anyway. Oh, and in 68 degree weather. In the middle of winter.


The other cities are like dreams, but california will always be home.

Helen & Caleb's Wedding
